Touch Radio 18 | Chris Watson - Alcedo Volcano

Chris writes: "The Alcedo Volcano sits, astride the equator 1000m above the Pacific ocean on the central ridge of Isla Isabella the largest of the Galapagos Islands. For tens of thousands of years within the micro climate of the Caldero a strange and beautiful habitat has been created - an isolated and lost world which I was privileged to live within for several days during May 2006."

TouchRadio is a monthly web-based mp3 stream, presenting Touch and related artists' work. A new, original way of presenting work on a non-commercial, non-restrictive basis.

Touch celebrates its 25th anniversary with an evening of live performances in London on the 17th October 2006. The evening commences at 2000 Hrs.

Touch continues to celebrate its 25th anniversary with a festival of audio-visual Touch-related events at the Sightsonic festival from 19th to 22nd October 2006. For a full programme...

The Sightsonic festival will also feature a Touch 25 Conference as part of its weekend programme. The conference will include talks and demonstrations by audio mastering expert Denis Blackham, web designer Philip Marshall, a sound seminar by Jon Wozencroft as well as interviews with Touch artists and contributors. There will be a special live performance by BJNilsen during the conference with new visual work by Tereza Stehlikova.
